The Children’s Trust of Alachua County is a Special Independent District with taxing authority. Our main focus is to fund various programs for children within our communities. Since 2018, The Children’s Trust of Alachua County has embraced their mission of supporting and funding a coordinated system of community services that allows all youth and their families to thrive.

The Contract Manager is an exempt-level position responsible for administering and monitoring contracts for programs funded by the Children’s Trust of Alachua County.

Note: The posted starting salary range is the minimum to midpoint of the salary range for the position.

 What You Will Do in the Role as the Contract Manager:

  • Manage the process of executing contracts.
  • Negotiate and award contracts.
  • Maintain program files.
  • Develop and maintain provider rapport.
  • Monitor contracts and contract compliance.
  • Develop and maintain compliance correspondence with awardees.
  • Manage contract amendments and revisions.
  • Manage contract deliverables and reimbursements in SAMIS software.
  • Assist with the management of the bid solicitation process.
  • Review applications for funding.
  • Evaluate applications.
  • Participate in meetings and professional development activities.
  • Attend and assist with Board meetings, workshops, and presentations.
  • Attend and assist with Trust events in the community.

 What You Bring:

  • Bachelors Degree and two (2) years’ experience in program management, grant management, or contract compliance.
